Gobble Gobble
This week is Thanksgiving week! This is the week where everyone can eat until they get sick. I love the holidays but Thanksgiving isnt my all time favorite holiday. I love seeing family and having school off but I am not a fan of the traditional Thanksgiving food. Usually while everyone is eating turkey and pumpkin pie, I will be eating frozen pizza. This year my 2 sisters from Tennessee are coming here to visit. I am very excited to see them :). Every year people get asked what they are thankful for and everyone says the same thing, they are thankful for there family and all. This year I am trying to think of something different. I am thankful for my family and all of us being healthy. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving week!! :)

The Case Against College
I have mixed feelings about "The Case Against College" by Linda Lee. In the essay, Linda talks about how college isnt for everyone and people dont have to go to college to get a good job. I feel that everyone should go to college. They might not finish it but I believe that they should try and experience the college life. If it doesnt work out, then I guess drop out. I do believe that if you have a college degree that you will get paid more and maybe enjoy your job more then other people. On the other hand, I do know people who dont have a college degree and do love there job. They dont get paid as well but they dont care about the money they just love what they are doing. I hope in my future I love going to work everyday and get good pay.

Logical Fallacies
I see logical fallacies everywhere! Expecially during voting time. The commericals, the billboards, the news, its everywhere. Even not during voting season, you see alot of different type of logical fallacies. Now a days, I seem to see Appeal to Pity and Appeal to Gallery the most. Ever since the economy has gone down, people losing there jobs, it seems everyone wants pity so maybe they could get something. As for the political stuff, shifted burden of proof is used the most. Each party trys to get there point out and then the other party trys to prove them wrong. There are so many logical fallacies, we probably see them everyday but dont notice it.

The Count Down
I just cant believe we only have 6 weeks left! This semester has done by so fast. I am very ready to be done with this semester. I cant wait to leave for St.Cloud. :) This will be a long, hard and busy 6 weeks. Yikes. I feel that the english papers are getting closer and closer. I am very nervous for the final unit. I really hope that I can organize my time with all the other classes to finish up all the work but yet get good grades. After taking 16 credits, I know that I will never take 16 credits again.
