Wow, I cant believe the semester is over with already. It seems like I just started not to long ago. Before this semester I have never blogged before. I am on facebook and etc but never blogged. At first I thought I wasnt going to like blogging but I actually do like blogging. It gives me a chance to type everything out and just recharge after.
My writing has become better. I dont know if it is because of the blog or the class work or even both but I do feel like it has improved. I will it has improved more but you dont always get what you wish for.
My future is looking pretty good in my book. After this semester I will be moving to St.Cloud to go to school. I am still majoring in Radiology. Hopefully I will make it.
This semester has been a rollercoaster. I have had my ups and I have had plenty downs. It had been a very stressful semester for me. I have learned not to take 16 credits. Thank you to all the students and for the professor for all the help. This class was one of my favorite this semester. :) Thanks for everything and good luck to everyone! Peace out!

Gobble Gobble
This week is Thanksgiving week! This is the week where everyone can eat until they get sick. I love the holidays but Thanksgiving isnt my all time favorite holiday. I love seeing family and having school off but I am not a fan of the traditional Thanksgiving food. Usually while everyone is eating turkey and pumpkin pie, I will be eating frozen pizza. This year my 2 sisters from Tennessee are coming here to visit. I am very excited to see them :). Every year people get asked what they are thankful for and everyone says the same thing, they are thankful for there family and all. This year I am trying to think of something different. I am thankful for my family and all of us being healthy. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving week!! :)

The Case Against College
I have mixed feelings about "The Case Against College" by Linda Lee. In the essay, Linda talks about how college isnt for everyone and people dont have to go to college to get a good job. I feel that everyone should go to college. They might not finish it but I believe that they should try and experience the college life. If it doesnt work out, then I guess drop out. I do believe that if you have a college degree that you will get paid more and maybe enjoy your job more then other people. On the other hand, I do know people who dont have a college degree and do love there job. They dont get paid as well but they dont care about the money they just love what they are doing. I hope in my future I love going to work everyday and get good pay.

Logical Fallacies
I see logical fallacies everywhere! Expecially during voting time. The commericals, the billboards, the news, its everywhere. Even not during voting season, you see alot of different type of logical fallacies. Now a days, I seem to see Appeal to Pity and Appeal to Gallery the most. Ever since the economy has gone down, people losing there jobs, it seems everyone wants pity so maybe they could get something. As for the political stuff, shifted burden of proof is used the most. Each party trys to get there point out and then the other party trys to prove them wrong. There are so many logical fallacies, we probably see them everyday but dont notice it.

The Count Down
I just cant believe we only have 6 weeks left! This semester has done by so fast. I am very ready to be done with this semester. I cant wait to leave for St.Cloud. :) This will be a long, hard and busy 6 weeks. Yikes. I feel that the english papers are getting closer and closer. I am very nervous for the final unit. I really hope that I can organize my time with all the other classes to finish up all the work but yet get good grades. After taking 16 credits, I know that I will never take 16 credits again.

Tattoos or Piercings
This week we are supposed to write about one of the short stories from chapter 7. I will be writing about the "On Teenagers and Tattoos" by Andres Martin. My thought about tattoos or piercings are fine. I dont really have anything bad to say about it. I have 4 pierces on my ears. 2 on each ear. I also have a tattoo on left foot. It is just a little star, nothing to great. I do want to get another one :) The one thing I dont like is that gaged ears (the big open circle on the ear lobe). It just looks nasty to me. Having tattoos or piercings doesnt make a person look sloppy. I feel like people feel that if you have tattoos your a bad person. I dont believe that at all. I feel that it makes a person unique.

Family
This week we are supposed to write about family. What makes a functional or dysfunctional family is the question I am supposed to answer. I think that everyones answer to that question will be different. A functional family to me is a family that loves to be around each other and has family dinners. Parents that go to there childrens sport games and helps them with homework. There will be some arguments but no screaming or hitting. A functional family is a family that will drop anything to go help someone else in the family if they need them. If you have a problem, you could go to family members and get help.
A dysfunctional family is a family that cant stand by being by each other. There is no communication and there is only screaming.
The Glass Castle is an amazing book. I absolutly love it! I cant put it down. The family in the story is very dysfunctional in my eyes. I just can not image living the life they do.
I bought a Nook from barnes and noble and I love it!! :)
